Friends of the Garner Public Library
An auxiliary group of the Garner Public Library Foundation, our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the library, its patrons, and the community.
The Friends’ support of the library includes:
Sponsoring the annual Duesey D’Arts art competition and show
Providing funding for presenters and entertainers for the summer program
Purchasing prizes for events and contests
Hosting author events
Membership forms are available at the desk in the library.
The library would love to have you as a Friend!
Garner Public Library Foundation
Established in 1986, the Foundation receives and administers gifts of money and property for the benefit of the library. Such private gifts enrich library services and collections. There is a strong precedent of private giving to the library, and the present building is a tribute to those who care about the quality of learning and services in our community.
Contributions may include:
Gifts of cash
Gifts of property
Gifts of stock or securities
Memorial gifts honoring relatives or friends
Gifts through corporations or businesses
Bequests in wills
